Dear Friends,
As you are probably aware, I recently lost my beloved husband, and your dentist, Dr. Donald Katz.

I want to personally acknowledge all of you who sent messages of condolence. Thank you for the kind, gracious and uplifting words. I've been truly touched by your sentiments.

I also want to take this opportunity to introduce you to the man who will be taking over Don's practice. I insisted upon being personally involved in the selection of the new doctor to ensure that our family of patients continued to get the best dental care.

Dr. Leonard Tau comes to us with an impressive record. He has been practicing high quality dentistry for many years and has already accumulated dental knowledge and experiences that doctors much older than he would find astonishing. Len has studied with, and learned from some of the most renowned dentists in the world. His clinical expertise can only be described a superlative.

But as impressed with his record as I am, what is equally important to me is how he values each individual patient and interacts with them as real persons. I find Len to be the kind of person that people admire and trust - and with good reason. He believes patients are people, and not names or numbers on a chart. His integrity, compassion and obvious affection for his patients are easy to see.

I was not about to turn over Don's practice to just anyone. Whoever it was going to be would have to not just meet, but exceed my expectations. Len has certainly done that. I am relieved to know that you will be in the very best of hands.

I'm also happy to tell you that all of Don's staff is staying with the practice, thus making the transition easier and more comfortable for our family of patients. In addition, all of Don's patient files have been retained by the practice.

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Tau.

Warm regards,
Alicia Katz
